C.P.D.C., CAPTIVE NATIONS COALITION PRESENT THE CASE FOR DECOUPLING FROM CHINA: STOP UNDERWRITING OUR ENEMY
Enes Kanter Freedom, Roger Robinson
to Feature in Special Webinar Tuesday
WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC) and the Captive Nations Coalition (CNC) are excited to announce their sponsorship of a remarkable event in opposition to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that will be held on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, 20 September from 12:30-1:30 p.m. National Basketball Association star and human rights champion Enes Kanter Freedom will be joined by one of America’s most impactful national security practitioners, Roger W. Robinson, in a presentation for legislators and their staff concerning: the threats posed by the CCP; the enabling of those threats by American corporations, Wall Street and others; and the imperative need to decouple from the PRC, notably by preventing further funding of our enemy by U.S. investors and otherwise to decouple from China.
Mr. Freedom has been punished by the NBA for his advocacy on behalf of those oppressed by the Communist Chinese. To appease Beijing, it ousted the former Boston Celtics player – which has only intensified his efforts on behalf of liberty, using his celebrity and stature, both literally and figuratively, to rally his millions of fans and others to do the same.
Mr. Robinson has in both public and private sector roles worked to defeat Communist nations seeking America’s destruction. As Senior Director for International Economic Affairs, he helped devise the economic warfare components of the strategy President Ronald Reagan used to take-down the USSR by cutting off its cash-flow. Mr. Robinson has also served as the Chairman of the congressionally mandated U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. He is the former President of RWR Advisory Group, current Chairman of the Prague Security Studies Institute and a leader in the campaign to prevent the funds of mostly unwitting American investors from being transferred to companies controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.
The program will be livestreamed by NTD Network as part of the CPDC’s webinar series at www.PresentDangerChina.org. Register to watch this video presentation and subscribe to past and future ones.
