Hong Kong Liberation Coalition

Hong Kong Liberation Coalition (HKLC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization registered in Washington D.C. formed by Hong Kongers in exile. We are dedicated to supporting the Hong Kong asylum seekers in the United States, as well as advocating the international community to take concrete actions in support of the freedom and democracy of Hong Kong.

US Tibet Committee

Since 1977, the U.S. Tibet Committee (USTC) has worked to further the Tibetan people’s nonviolent struggle to restore independence to Tibet. At the grass roots level, our commitment is to educate Americans on the occupation of Tibet, and to mobilize them into action against this injustice. The work of USTC began when its founders, India Trinley and Sherpa Tulku, and their supporters, successfully overturned a U.S. State Department ruling which disallowed U.S. citizens of Tibetan origin to name their country of birth in their passports.

China Change

At China Change, a few dedicated staff on a shoe string budget bring you information and produce videos about human rights, the rule of law, and civil society in China. We want to help you understand aspects of China’s political landscape that are the most censored and least understood.

Our reports and translations are regularly linked or cited by major media outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and The Telegraph (to name a few), and we are often cited in Congressional and other governmental and NGO reports. Our interviews and profiles provide engaging, personal stories of “the change makers of China.” Our website has been cataloged in Columbia University’s human rights website collection.
